Dimitry Sablinsky (1912 - 1990) toured with the Don Cossack Choir throughout the US, Canada and Mexico for about a two year period while his family lived in San Francisco. He sang the solo «A Hazel Tree» recorded on Columbia 7636-M. Later on Dimitry went on to become the choir master of the Russian Orthodox Cathedral in San Francisco for many years.
