From about 1966/1967 he was a member of the Don Cossack Choir S. Jaroff

He can be seen as a soloist in the WDR television concerts (German television) in 1967.

Bohachevsky was a veteran of the Korean War and a Ukrainian concert and opera singer. He studied singing in several European cities, as well as in New York.

He was a singer with the New York City Opera for over 30 years.

In the film "Heintje, mein bester Freund, 1971" (Heintje, my best friend, 1971) he is not in the choir.

There are records "Ukrainian songs and dances" with him, as well as "Ukrainian songs" with Olga Pawlowa from 1991.

George died in 2006 and is buried in Andrew Cemetery South Bound Brook, NJ.
