Фирма Rytmi была основана в ноябре 1940 г. в г. Хельсинки двумя инженерами YLE (то есть финского радиовещания) Paavo Aarni и Rafael Ylkanen. W 1948 г. была куплена фирмой Musiiki-Frazer, но лейб продолжал существовать вплоть до 70-х гг.
