Adrian, I think this "1951" is nothing more than just an owner's note of buying or exchanging the record. The design, factory sign, all the abbreviations and repertoire are definitely pre-war.
Брак заключается в том, что на второй стороне наклеена точно такая же этикетка как и эта, а запись на зеркале гласит, что матричный номер 20887/6-2 (треугольник). Это запись 1951 года. Она не в ходит во временные рамки этого сайта.
There is alternation of Yiddish and Russian verses, so I added Russian as second language.
Mikhail (=Michael) and Misha in Russian are the same name. The difference is that Mikhail is formal one, while Misha is informal one - just like Robert and Bob or Williams and Bill.
Michael Iosifovich (on Soviet records) and Misha (on Hed-Arzi etc) Appelbaum are really different persons! They even have different spelling in Russian: Эпельбаум vs. Аппельбаум.
May be we should spell M.I. Appelbaum as Apelbaum i.e. with single "p" ? Pavel, you are an expert in Jewish names, what do you think?
I wonder if I'm the only person here who thinks this is absolutely awful singing.
Like the generation of collectors before me, for many years I believed that there were few if any great singers who started their careers after about 1909. But however much they worshipped the Golden Age singers, collectors had to make excuses for Figner. Local and changing tastes in voices and changing performance style can't explain it. The guy just can't sing.
