Recording Location?
I know very little about the circumstances of these early Soviet electrical recordings, but this one seems to have the qualities of a ballroom recording, with the open acoustics; seems to be less "boxy" than the other recordings of this period.

Is it possible that this was recorded on location, where this band played?

No, it’s almost impossible.
