The 3 shown "Intona" labels don't look to me as old as from 1904.
Is there perhaps a connection to "Inton", a label founded 1930 by Artur Kybart who had been co-founder of "Metropol" in 1910?
Thank you for the references to "Intona-Record" and Mr. Tikhonov's article. Your website collects amazing data!

By the way: I searched by the keyword "Feigenbaum" in your archive and wasn't referred to the "Syrena-Record" article. I think it would be a good idea to link the content of the articles with the records archive.
”
Unfortunately, the articles are not indexed... I shall fix it in the future.

Is it known if "Intona-Record" actually recorded, or was it solely a pirate label.
”
I have no idea, but most likely "Intona-Record" label was used by "Ideal" company for pirate records only.

The "Intona" labels were used up to 1908. Tomash Lersky told me that he saw "greenish" labels - may be they older?

I do not think there is a connection - 1930 is a quarter of century past 1904.
Do you know if there were patent reasons why there were so few disc labels in Europe before 1904, or was that simply when it first seemed a good market to enter commercially?
”
Separated from the legal question, it was very difficult to make good recordings and process a faultless stamper from the wax.
As Yuri wrote, "Intona-Record" was most likely a pirate label. It created stampers from finished discs of other companies. I wouldn't therefore call it a "recording company." Mr. Lerski should have chosen the date of the company's own recordings as the founding of the Polish industry.
