One technical hint: Before converting to MP3, please convert your stereo transfer (which is BTW the perfectly correct thing to do originally, to facilitate declicking and phase-correction) to mono by combining the two channels 50%:50%. This will remove the annoying rumble and make for a much clearer sound.

But apart from this, you are audibly on a much better way of transferring your 78s than some others here. Thank you!
