Song about a Joe Louis vs. Max Schmeling fight. On the tune of waltz "Die Romantiker" by Austrian composer Joseph Lanner (op. 167), which was base for multiple Polish songs, such as "Ballad about miss Franciszka" (Ballada o pannie Franciszce) or "On the waves of Ebro" (Za Ebru falą).
Czerny, Kubiak and Spiewakowski served in the 10th Mounted Rifle Regiment of the 10th Armored Cavalry Brigade of the Polish Armed Forces in the West.
