В быту этот фокстрот называется "Моя русская Роз-Мари", а в оригинале "Ever Since I Kissed Her On The Volga".

Sonya (Yup, alay, yup, alay, yup!)
Sonya, Sonya, Sonya,
No one can take you from ya.
I don’t know why I love you but I do.
With other girls I met,
I thought could forget
But I find it’s ever so hard to do.

Oh! When I’m thinking of you Sonya my own,
Oh! When I’m thinking of you Sonya,
I feel ridiculous I’m heart sick and sore
Since you want your Nicolas no more.
All through the daytime
My heart is in the flurry,
I have the gay time I never never worry.
But when the stars a-blinking, and I’m alone
That’s when I’m thinking of you Sonya my own.

Yup...alay...yup alay...yup alay...yup,
That’s when I’m thinking of you Sonya my own.

Yup...alay...yup alay...yup alay...yup,
That’s when I’m thinking of you Sonya.

I can remember when you came from Shlabutka,
T’was in November my heart was full of vodka.

Yup alay...yup alay...yup alay...yup
That’s when I’m thinking of you Sonya my own.

Oh! When I’m thinking of you Sonya my own,
Oh! When I’m thinking of you Sonya,
I feel ridiculous I’m heart sick and sore
Since you want your Nicolas no more.
All through the daytime my heart is in the flurry,
I have the gay time I never never worry.
But when the stars are blinking, and I’m alone
That’s when I’m thinking of you Sonya my own.

Alley Oop
https://www.dictionary.com/browse/alley-oop

"The term "alley-oop" is derived from the French term allez hop!, the cry of a circus acrobat about to leap."

I think this is the origin of the "Yup alay yup" though has no obvious reason in the song.

https://www.dictionary.com/browse/alley-oop

Alay yup,
