Recording date and title
Recorded 1901/02 in St. Petersburg, also on X-165 and 82891. Correct spelled title: Jag stod i dunkla drömmar

Re: Recording date and title
Thank you, Per!
I made the corrections but... in Alan Kelly's Zonophone catalog the recording year for this one and 16 other Hjalmar Frey numbers is 1904. Do you think he made a mistake?

Re: Recording date and title
I think Kelly is correct. The recording was made in 1904 by Georg Franz Hampe in St. Petersburg. Hampe (initial Hp) is clearly identified in the matrix number: 165 Zo h' Hp II

The confusion arose from the low Zonophone catalogue number X-165, which is the designating of no. 165 in the 10" block of numbers. While Zonophone numbers X-1 to X-74, and X-174 to X-177 were recorded in late 1901 in Berlin, the gap in the block of numbers was closed only in 1904 by Hampe's recordings in St. Petersburg.

Re: Recording date and title
I got the information from Karleric Liliedahls "The Gramphone Co Acoustic recordings in Scandinavia", 2nd revised edition, Stockholm 2002. I do not dare to have any view on who is correct...

I checked Alan Kelly's table that summarizes recording sessions in Russia. It clearly says that matrices from 53Zo to 188Zo were recorded by F.Hampe in1904 in St. Petersburg. I think it's correct information because Alan got it from the EMI's archive in Hayes.
